Jesus dies, Jesus is resurrected - but then what? After 40 days with his disciples, he ascends - not just up from the earth out of their sight - but into the heavenly realm where is enthroned as king, seated at right hand of God. The ascension is not often considered, but without it, God's great plan is not fulfilled. What does it mean for the disciples that Jesus ascends? What does it mean for us?
