Jeremiah 29

Since Adam & Eve's expulsion from Eden, humans have been longing for their home, living as exiles away from God's original desire. This theme runs throughout Scripture with glimpses of restoration and countless examples of humanity's exile. During Daniel's day, the people of God were literally exiles in Babylon. In an interesting window in our own situation, Jeremiah wrote a letter to the Babylonian exiles offering guidance for their stay and hope for their future.
