Your Kingdom Come Your Will Be Done

Prayer is both important and difficult. Jesus gives us a great guide for our prayers, what we call "the Lord's prayer." The second thing he tells us we should pray is that God's kingdom would come, and that His will would be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  This is double layered prayer - longing for the future kingdom to come and for God's kingdom will to be done in our lives now.
