Give Preference In Honor

Romans 12:10 calls believers to a radically different way of living: not seeking honor for ourselves, but eagerly looking for ways to honor others. True honor recognizes the God-given value of people and expresses that value through our thoughts, words, and actions. Rather than competing to be noticed, appreciated, or served, Christians are called to outdo one another in showing honor, following the example of Christ, who loved us first and gave himself for us. Romans 12:10 invites believers into the only competition where everyone wins: honoring one another.
