Ukraine Help

So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people...

Galatians 6:10

As we watch images and hear stories from Ukraine, our hearts are moved to pray and act as God's people. We are prayerfully proceeding in the following ways:

Pray

Pray for peace, pray for the end of the war, pray for the families, children, and leaders involved.

Give

Our church is committed to give financial help to local churches in Ukraine and the surrounding region caring for the families fleeing the country. Local churches are serving as temporary housing, food and supply distribution centers, as well as a refuge for people due to the overwhelming physical and emotional needs. We are collecting an offering to be used to help God's people in the region care for the hurting, needy and vulnerable. We are working with local representatives who know where the most critical needs are.  Please help us expand this work by giving below. All donated funds will go directly to this work.

5/6/22 - we have been providing updates in our facebook group and during announcements on Sunday.

1 - We were able to purshase a van for a church in Ukraine to assist them in transporting families out of the country to safety and also distributing food.
2 - A team has returned to Poland and is assessing ways to directly help churches in the region. We have contributed to this effort.
Donations can also be mailed to the church (include "Ukraine" in memo line):

Gather

We are collecting critical supplies to send to the region with Convoy Of Hope. There are millions who have left Ukraine with the clothes on their backs and a few other items. As a large number of these refugees are woman and children, these supplies are specific to help their immediate physical needs.

We are currently collecting feminine products (pads specificially) and diapers.
Please bring these new & unopened items to the church.

Go

There may be an opportunity to go to the region and help along with other local believers.   It seems that the latest needs include those who medical training of any kind, people who speak Russian or Ukrainian, and those who can help with physical "grunt work" labor. This trip would likely be to Poland to aid churches which are ministering to refugees fleeing Ukraine.  If interested, please complete the form below

And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
